Family Tree

Family Tree art:  this cute art depicts family life, illustrated through adorable birds.  You have the cheeky child that wants to play, instead of getting ready for school.  The child who is easily distracted, the inquisitive neighbour!  The loved-up couple, the solo adventurer ….. all families you’d find in your neighbourhood.

Made using beach pottery, sea glass and driftwood twigs collected on Cornish beaches.

This picture makes a lovely family gift, birthday present for a parent, or even an ideal Mum’s day or Dad’s day gift, and as a fun art, it is a picture which will be enjoyed by all ages.

The white wooden frame is 54cm x 29cm with a depth of 3cm …. as such, this is a very eye-catching piece of art, and will certainly attract comments … a piece of art which will repeatedly bring smiles and chuckles.  The picture is finished with a couple of dried flowers from my garden.

Each Family Tree contains five branches with either beach pottery or sea glass birds, hand-painted grass with dried flowers – the maximum birds which can be fitted on one branch are 5.

One of my best selling designs, yet each frame is entirely unique, as each piece of beach pottery and sea glass have a different colouring from the sea, texture and thickness – we do not tumble or change the shape of materials, we use them exactly as we find them on the beach.
