Textile wall art

This wall hanging has a patchwork background using fabrics that I hand dyed. On top of this are layered vintage fabrics including a handkerchief and crochet doilies. 

I then free machine quilted the whole piece to give a fabulous texture and enhance the different elements. 

The back has hanging corners should you want to hang it, or you can use it as a table topper. 

Some of the dye has leaked onto the back and the crochet…I think this adds to the appeal!

Not to be washed or ironed. It can be lightly vacuumed to remove any surface dust.
