Fused Glass Large Hanger Cornish Beach Scene

This fused glass hanger has been inspired by the Cornish seaside and coast, handmade in Cornwall in my studio. It is Approx. 24cm long  by 6.5 cm wide with a nichrome hanging hook and rustic twine, this hanger can be hung from a window to allow light to pass through or against a plain wall, the textured glass still allows light to reflect and sparkle. I use purely bullseye glass to ensure compatibility and layer powdered and crushed glass frit to create images before each piece is carefully fired for 13-15 hours. 

This fused glass hanger has been inspired by the Cornish seaside and coast, handmade in Cornwall in my studio. Iridised glass gives the sea a glittery effect whilst the texture of the added frit creates great movement in the crashing waves. 

Each piece of my glass is created without templates or machinery so no two pieces are identical, therefore pieces may differ slightly from photographs.
