Original one of a kind monotype of leaves and grasses in autumnal colours of russet and orange with touches of gold and a background of pale blue like an autumn sky. Mounted on wooden panel and ready to hang. The piece is printed using tissue paper which takes the print beautifully and shows lovely details of the leaves and grasses. It makes a textured finish on the panel like rumpled silk and is part of the design. The piece is then varnished to protect it and has a surface sheen. The sides of the panel are painted gold.
Made using natural material collected from my garden and hedgerows along the narrow Cornish lanes where I live. I am inspired by my surroundings in the countryside of Cornwall and I hope this is conveyed in the pieces that I make.
